Skills and Experience gained: I worked for myself as a Freelance Truck Driver since 1990 (Code 14, equivalent to the US CDL Class A) with extensive Truck driving across RSA, delivering Trucks, Trailers and or Goods to customers. Been driving different trucks ie. Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Scania, etc. with different transmissions ie. 6, 9, 18 speed Manual, Automatic, Tip Tronic and Clutch less. I've also done some basic tasks like Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting etc. Servicing Pickup's, Trucks, Frontend loaders, Repair tires, do oil changes, fixing brakes, hydraulic hoses, replacing spray nozzles, respraying equipment, applicators, nurse tanks, manufacturing base/foot plates for grinders and drills so that it complies with OHS standards, replacing Auger belts, services and grease of all equipment on a weekly/bi-weekly basis. Assisting with the daily/weekly maintenance of vehicles and facilities. Painting offices and equipment on site (fences, bollards, weigh bridge, ladders, railings), pressure wash of vehicles, equipment, building walls. Assisting with Arial Irrigation, loading/unloading of stock, seeds, Fertilizer, Pesticides. Driving trucks to and from weigh bridges, manual weighing of vehicles on scales, driving forklifts, trucks. Were responsible for the dispersing, mixing and loading of all wet/dry chemicals onto trucks, applicators and nurse tanks. Assisted with the loading of Dry Fertilizer onto trucks and tender trailers with Frontend loaders. Delivering/collecting applicators, nurse tanks to and from farmers. Cleaning of premises and seed bins. Mowing lawn on premises. I know how to perform basic maintenance with and the handling of power tools such as grinders, drills, power tools. Have done and passed a Pest and Disease control course at the Agricultural University of Ohio in Troy in 2023. I am Physically and Mentally fit. I have passed Medical Fitness and Drug Test in Dayton – Ohio in 2023 and 2024. DOL Medical Certificate still valid.
